So evidently we’re gearing up for Icepocalypse here in Indianapolis so I’m going to spend the day battening down the hatches. It looks like our chances of having electricity this time tomorrow are pretty slim, so if you can think of any ways to entertain a rambunctious preschooler and a sick toddler without electricity, PLEASE share!
And don’t worry, we’re stocked up on Pop-Tarts and board games. Hopefully we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming by the end of the week!
Brrrrrrrrrrr!! We are iced in today in north Texas. We went to the library and stocked up on books and learning DVDs for warming up in between short bursts outside!
ReplyDeleteSometimes we move alllll the furniture in the living room against the walls and decorate and have a princess tea party/ Ball. The girls get as many dress up clothes on that they can and I let them wear my lipstick haha and we drink water in our tea cups! Usually keeps them busy for a while.
flashlights and/or living room tents are usually entertaining...at least for a little bit. :)
