Hi, I'm Sam! I'm married, have two adorable kiddos, and live in the Midwest where I was born and raised. I've been sewing since I was really little and have always loved being crafty and creative. In the fall of 2010 I decided to take the plunge and start my own business sewing goodies for kiddos.
My Etsy shop opened in late August 2010, around the same time I started this blog. I also started selling at craft and art fairs and in some local stores. I'm learning about everything through trial and error, a lot of blog and book reading, and pure luck!
I love reading about others' successes and failures in their own business, so I started this blog to share my journey with other people trying to get their own handmade business off the ground. I'm by no means an expert but I am happy to share what works (and doesn't work) for me.
